The Bucks fell to the Huskies for the second night in a row, losing the game 10-2. The Bucks are now 0-4 on the season against the Huskies and have only one game closer than six runs against them. Brock Hudgens was forced to make an early exit in the game after reaching an inning limit pitch count after giving up three runs in the 2nd inning. The bullpen slowed them down for a few innings but gave seven runs in innings five through seven. The Bucks managed just six hits at the plate with four of them coming from Austin Barrett, giving him a seven game hitting streak.

The Bucks again started the scoring off in the 1st inning. A Pete Leonello walk followed by a Barrett single put runners at first and second. Leonello was then able to advance to third and score on two separate wild pitches. The Huskies came back in the second inning, scoring on a bases loaded walk and a two RBI single to take a 3-1 lead.

The Bucks only other run came in the 6th inning. Singles by Barrett and Sean Borman with a Kevin Kaczmarski walk in between loaded the bases. Jordan Adams was able to draw a walk to score one run, but the Bucks stranded the bases loaded to end the inning. The Bucks left a total of seven runners stranded on base.

The Bucks pitching struggled all night against the Huskies. The Huskies put up ten runs on 15 hits, making that three of four games the Huskies have scored double digits against the Bucks. Brock Hudgens hit the pitch count limit per inning in the second inning and was unable to return after giving up three runs. Justin Grijalva was able to go three innings but appeared to go one inning too long as he gave up two runs in his final inning of work. Reed Reilly came in next and struggled mightily, going two innings and giving up five runs on six hits. Brett Andrzejewski finished out the last two innings with really the only positive in the pitching staff, giving up no runs on just two hits.

The Bucks take on the Huskies in the final game of the series tomorrow with a 6:35 pm start time. Remember to check out waterloobucks.com for all your latest Bucks information.
