Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, members of the Northwoods League, have announced that renovated Riverfront Stadium will host four high school baseball tournaments this year, along with the Bucks Baseball Cedar Valley Metro High School Tournament which was announced last week. A total of 15 teams will participate in the events that begin on May 24.
 
Three teams are scheduled to participate in the 2013 Waterloo Bucks Pre-Season Classic, which will occur on Friday, May 24. Dike-New Hartford H.S., MFL MarMac H.S., and St. Ansgar H.S. will face each other in a triangular. Game one begins at 2:00 pm as MFL MarMac will take on St. Ansgar. St. Ansgar will play Dike-New Hartford in the 4:00 pm contest. The day’s final game will take place at 6:00 pm as MFL Mar-Mac locks horns with Dike-New Hartford.
 
The 2013 Waterloo Bucks First Pitch High School Baseball Championship will take place on Saturday, May 25. AGWSR H.S., Denison-Schleswig H.S., Denison H.S., and Mt. Pleasant H.S. will play in a traditional four-team, four-game format. Action begins at 10:00 am with Denver facing Mt. Pleasant. At 12:00 pm, AGWSR will play Denision-Schleswig. The consolation game is scheduled for 2:00 pm with the championship contest taking place at 4:00 pm.
 
Aplington-Parkersburg H.S., Boone H.S., Lake Mills H.S., and Union H.S. will all participate in the 2013 Waterloo Baseball Bash on Saturday, June 29. Boone will face Union at 11:30 am followed up with a contest between Aplington-Parkersburg and Lake Mills at 1:30 pm. The consolation game is scheduled for 3:30 pm with the championship contest taking place at 5:30 pm.
 
The 2013 Riverfront Stadium Challenge will take place on Saturday, July 6. Colo-Nesco H.S., Garner-Hayfield/Ventura H.S., Roland-Story H.S., and South Hardin H.S. will all participate in the four team tournament. Roland-Story will face South Hardin in the 11:30 am game with Colo-Nesco taking on Garner-Hayfield/Ventura in the 1:30 pm. . The consolation game is scheduled for 3:30 pm with the championship contest taking place at 5:30 pm.
 
Ticket pricing for all four tournaments will be the same: $6 Adult All Day Passes; $5 Student All Day Passes; ages 5 and under are free.
