Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that pitcher J.T. Miller has been named the AKA Services Bucks Player of the Week. Miller, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is currently a junior at Wabash College.

 

Miller started two games over the past week and went 2-0. The left-hander went seven innings in both games and only gave up two runs and struck out 12 batters in his two starts. 

 

Miller has been extremely dependable over the season. He currently leads the team in wins and innings pitched, and is second in ERA and strikeouts. On the season, Miller is 3-0, with a 1.35 ERA in 20 innings pitched and has struck out 16 batters.

The Bucks finish up a six-game home stand tonight with a 6:35 p.m. contest against the Mankato MoonDogs.
