Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced they will host five high school baseball tournaments at Riverfront Stadium over the course of the summer.  Each tournament will be for varsity level high school baseball clubs and all will feature four teams in a four-game format.

The Waterloo Bucks First Pitch High School Baseball Championship will take place May 31.  That tourney begins at noon with Dike-New Hartford H.S. facing St. Ansgar H.S., followed up by AGWSR H.S. taking on Roland-Story H.S. at 2:00 pm.  The consolation game is slated for 4:00 pm with the championship starting at 6:00 pm.

The Greater Cedar Valley Baseball Tournament will occur on June 7, starting at 11:30 am.  Play will begin with Dubuque Hempstead H.S. facing Forest City H.S., followed up by a 1:30 pm tilt between Camanche H.S. and Denison-Schleswig H.S.  The consolation game is slated for 3:30 pm with the championship starting at 5:30 pm.

The Riverfront Stadium Diamond Classic will be held on June 27.  That tournament begins at 11:00 am with Mt. Pleasant H.S. facing Waterloo Columbus H.S., followed up by Graettinger-Terrill H.S. taking on Wayne H.S. at 1:00 pm.  The consolation game is slated for 3:00 pm with the championship starting at 5:00 pm.

The next day, June 28, Riverfront Stadium hosts the Waterloo Baseball Bash, beginning at 11:30 am.  Play will begin with West Fork H.S. facing West Marshall H.S., followed up by a 1:30 pm tilt between West Bend-Mallard H.S. and Winfield-Mt. Union H.S.  The consolation game is slated for 3:30 pm with the championship starting at 5:30 pm.

To wrap things up, the Riverfront Stadium Challenge is scheduled for July 5.  That tournament begins at 11:30 am with Crestwood H.S. facing Pleasantville H.S., followed up by Pleasant Valley H.S. taking on Sioux City West H.S. at 1:30 pm.  The consolation game is slated for 3:30 pm with the championship starting at 5:30 pm.
