Waterloo, Iowa – The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks right-handed pitcher Cody Sedlock the NWL Pitcher of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo’s 5-4 win over the Eau Claire Express on Thursday.  The freshman from the University of Illinois went 6.2 innings, allowing two runs while striking out nine.  The hurler allowed just five hits, while only one of his runs was earned as he garnered the win. 

Originally from Sherrard, Illinois, Sedlock is now 2-2 on the season with a 2.39 ERA over five starts.  The freshman has struck out 17 over 26.1 innings pitched.
