Waterloo, Iowa – The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks right-handed pitcher Dane Dunning the NWL Pitcher of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo’s 8-3 win over the Alexandria Blue Anchors on Sunday.  The freshman from the University of Florida went seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits.  Dunning struck out five and walked two.

The game was Dunning’s fourth appearance and his third start as he lowered his ERA to 3.13.  Dunning improved to 2-2 in 18 strikeouts in 23 innings.
