The Bucks have made a habit of coming back late and winning in extra innings. They did just that in the first game of Friday night's double header, as they would go on to win 4-3.
The game winning run came in the eight inning of the shortened contest. Connor McClain walked and eventually scored on a passed ball. The win was the second of the second half for the Bucks.
Greg Kuhlman was the winning pitcher for the Bucks, going one inning and walking one. Adam Bray allowed three runs over his five and one third innings of work before being pulled in favor of TJ Peterson. Bray earned a no decision.
Ryan Brower was credited with the loss for Rochester. He allowed the game winning run in his only inning of work. Starting for the Honkers was Seth Holbert, who allowed two runs over four and two thirds innings before being pulled. He was credited with a no decision.
The Bucks and Honkers continue the Scheels Highway 63 Series thirty minutes following the completion of game one. Tim Shannon squares off against Will Bamesberger in the second game of tonight's double header.
