The Bucks tallied six combined runs in the third and fourth inning of Thursday night's contest, enough to carry them past the cellar dwelling Kalamazoo Growlers.

Kevin Kaczmarski ripped a three run shot over the left center field wall in the fourth inning, effectively burying the Growlers hopes of pulling out a victory. The Bucks would go on to score two more runs over the duration of the game, en route to a 9-4 victory.

Cody Sedlock was tonight's winning pitcher, allowing one run over six innings for the Bucks. Eric Veglahn made his Bucks debut on the mound, impressively striking out the side in his first inning of work. His second inning would not prove to be as smooth, as he allowed three runs in the eighth inning.

With Mankato being drubbed by Duluth, the Bucks win moves them to a game and a half behind the MoonDogs for first place. The Bucks and Growlers square off again on Friday at 7:05 p.m.
