Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced that they have partnered with 1650 The Fan to broadcast a select number of games during the 2015 season.  27 games will be aired live on 1650 AM – KCNZ with all 72 games being aired live online through www.waterloobucks.com.  The possibility of adding more games to the 1650 airwaves exists as the season progresses.

“The Bucks are excited to team up with 1650 The Fan,” said Bucks General Manager Dan Corbin.  “This partnership allows us to feature our great brand on the Cedar Valley’s leading sports station.”

Below is the schedule of games and broadcast times that will be aired on 1650 The Fan in 2015.  All broadcasts will begin 20 minutes prior to the game’s first pitch:

  • May 31 – at Duluth – 4:45 pm
  • June 6 – at Mankato – 6:15 pm
  • June 8 – at Eau Claire – 6:15 pm

  • June 10 – vs. Thunder Bay – 6:45 pm
  • June 12 – at Kalamazoo – 6:15 pm
  • June 20 – vs. St. Cloud – 6:45 pm
  • June 25 – at Willmar – 6:45 pm
  • June 28 – at Thunder Bay – 3:45 pm
  • June 30 – at Rochester – 11:45 am
  • July 2 – at St. Cloud – 6:45 pm
  • July 3 – vs. Battle Creek – 6:45 pm

In addition to the game broadcasts, 1650 The Fan will broadcast live from the Bucks’ annual pre-season Media Day.  The date and time of Media Day will be announced in the coming days. 

The Bucks, the winningest team in all of summer-collegiate baseball over the past two years, will open the 2015 season on the road versus the Alexandria Blue Anchors on May 26, but return to Waterloo for their home opener versus the Mankato MoonDogs on May 28.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
