Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced they will be holding their 2015 Media Day on Sunday, May 24 at Pepper’s Grill and Sports Pub in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  The event, which is open to all members of the general public and media, will begin at 11:00 am and will conclude at 1:00 pm.

Media Day will provide a chance for both the media and fans to meet and interact with the Bucks’ players, coaches, and front office staff.  Pepper’s, peppers 2a longtime partner of the Bucks, is located at 620 East 18th Street in Cedar Falls.

This year’s format will feature opening statements followed by a question and answer session with Bucks ownership, front office, coaches, and players starting at 11:30 am.  At 12:00 pm, Media Day will be aired live on 1650 The Fan (KCNZ-AM).  Bucks radio announcer Matt Gruemmer will host the broadcast which will feature a season preview and interviews with staff, coaches, and players.  The broadcast will conclude at 1:00 pm.  The last hour of Media Day will also be streamed online at www.waterloobucks.com.

The Bucks, the winningest team in all of summer-collegiate baseball over the past two years, will open the 2015 season on the road versus the Alexandria Blue Anchors on May 26, but return to Waterloo for their home opener versus the Mankato MoonDogs on May 28.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
