Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced that today’s Open House has been cancelled.  Weather conditions this morning pushed back the start of the Waterloo First Pitch High School Tournament presented by Hawkeye Community College.  With the delay, the tournament is expected to end after the scrimmage’s original start time of 7:05 pm.

The Bucks open the 2016 Northwoods League season on Tuesday, May 31 against the St. Cloud Rox at 7:05 pm with gates opening at 6:00 pm

The Bucks play at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.  Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, and concessions equipment.  Season tickets, individual game tickets, and group outings are currently on sale by calling the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch during the season with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com or utilizing the Waterloo Bucks app.
