Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced they will a youth baseball camp on Saturday, July 16.  The camp is open to children ages 17 and under and will begin at noon at Riverfront Stadium.  The cost to attend is $20 per participant.  Each camper will receive a reserved seat ticket to that evening’s Bucks game.  This is the second of three baseball camps the Bucks will be running this summer, with the last slated for August 13.

Bucks players will run the camp.  Individuals interested in attending the clinic may sign-up and pay at the Riverfront Stadium Souvenir Stand during Bucks home games starting July 10 or can show up at 11:45 am on the day of the camp with the entry fee and a baseball glove.  Each participant must fill out a Player Information Sheet/Waiver, which is available by downloading the 7-16-16 Camp Waiver here, at the Riverfront Stadium Souvenir Stand, or on the day of the camp.  For more information, contact the Bucks office at (319) 232-0500.

The Bucks are in the midst of a five-game road trip, playing the Thunder Bay Border Cats tonight at 6:05 pm.  Tonight’s game can be heard online at www.waterloobucks.com with play-by-play announcer Jared Shlensky.  The team returns home on Sunday, July 10 to start a two-game homestand versus the First Half North Division Champion Eau Claire Express.  First pitch on Sunday is slated for 3:35 pm and fans are encouraged to call the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633 or order online at http://waterloo-bucks.nwltickets.com/SingleGame/Tickets/SelectSeats/2594.

The Bucks play at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.  Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, and concessions equipment.  Season tickets, individual game tickets, and group outings are currently on sale by calling the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch during the season with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com or utilizing the Waterloo Bucks app.
