Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced that Riverfront Stadium will play host to the 2017 NJCAA Region XI Division II Baseball Tournament May 11th through the 15th.  Seven teams from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference will play in the five-day, 12-game event.
 
The opening game of the tournament is set to begin at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 11, followed by two more games that day, starting at 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm.  Game times will remain the same on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13, while two games are set to be played on Sunday, May 14.  The tournament championship will be played at 3:30 pm on Sunday, or at 11:00 am on Monday, May 15, if a double-elimination game is required.

The Bucks open the 2017 season at home on May 30 versus the St. Cloud Rox and play at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.  Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, and concessions equipment.  Bucks 2017 Single Game Tickets, Season Tickets, and Group Outings are now on sale.  Fans are encouraged to call the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633 to order.  Fans can stay in touch with the Bucks during the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
