Despite a dazzling relief effort by Otis Roby, the Waterloo Bucks (1-3) lost by a 5-4 score Friday evening to the Rochester Honkers (2-2).

The righthander threw 4 scoreless out of the pen, retiring 12 straight after allowing a leadoff single in the 5th. He struck out 6 and recorded a jaw-dropping 20.8% swinging strike rate.

Waterloo received two-hit games from Brendan Hueth and Trey Leonard, with Leonard adding a double and a pair of RBI. Andy Bennett reached base three times with a base knock and two walks.

The Bucks open a 2 game home series with the Willmar Stingers this weekend, with 6:35 first pitch on Saturday and 2:05 on Sunday.
