The Waterloo Bucks (3-8) fell to the North-Leading La Crosse Loggers on Friday night by a 6-3 final.
Danny Kapala struck out 8 in a dominating relief outing for the Bucks, while Deion Thompson and Jake Means each had a pair of hits. Brendan Hueth had a 2-run single to help provide the only Waterloo runs.
The Bucks will look to avoid the sweep on Saturday evening against La Crosse at 6:05 p.m.
