Kent State teammates Patrick Ferguson (3-5, 3B, HR, 2 R, 5 RBI) and Ryan Lane (W, 7.0 ip, 8 H, 3 ER, 1 K, 2 BB) sparked the Waterloo Bucks (1-0, 11-25) to a 10-6 victory over the Willmar Stingers (0-1, 23-13) on the 4th of July.
Tate Samuelson (2-4, R, 3 RBI) and Brendan Hueth (2-5) joined Ferguson as Bucks with a multi-hit game, while Trey Leonard and Angelo Altavilla each went 1-3 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored.
The Bucks and the Stingers wrap up their series on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium.
