Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks are proud to announce their partnership with the Waterloo Police Department in the inaugural year of the ‘Catch With a Cop’ program. ‘Catch With a Cop’ is designed to bridge communication between local police officials and youth throughout Waterloo and the Cedar Valley. This year’s program will incorporate several interactions at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium and various parks throughout Waterloo.

The Bucks and Waterloo Police Department are currently working with the Boys and Girls Club of the Cedar Valley and the Black Hawk County YMCA.

“We are excited to be a part of bringing together police officers and youth within Waterloo for open communication and to provide some fun through baseball,” stated Bucks assistant general manager Ben Knaack. “We are proud to continue to expand the Our Bucks community efforts by getting other community groups involved to participate in a great program such as ‘Catch With a Cop.’”

For more information about ‘Catch With a Cop’ or to involve more youth-oriented groups in this program, contact Ben Knaack at (319) 232-0500 x4 or ben@waterloobucks.com.

All home games are played at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.  Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, kids zone inflatables, and concessions equipment.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com or utilizing the Northwoods League Mobile App.  Tickets are now on sale by calling the Bucks’ Ticket Line at 319-232-5633.
