Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks are pleased to announce a partnership with Experience Waterloo and the Cedar Valley Sports Commission as the presenting sponsors of the 2019 Northwoods League All-Star Game.  The game, which will be held on July 16, will return to Waterloo for the first time since 1996 and will be played at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium.

“We are excited to be teaming up with Experience Waterloo and the Cedar Valley Sports Commission to showcase what Waterloo and the entire Cedar Valley area has to offer for so many visitors,” said Bucks general manager Dan Corbin.  “The Bucks are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the best players from the world’s largest organized baseball league to Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium with the backing of Experience Waterloo and the Cedar Valley Sports Commission.”

The Northwoods League All-Star Game brings together the top talent from across the League as voted on by League coaches and media, with the best of the Great Plains Division facing off against the best of the Great Lakes Division.  Details of the annual event, which includes a banquet honoring the All-Star players from across the Northwoods League, Home Run Derby, and the Game itself, will be released in coming weeks.  Individual All-Star Game tickets will go on sale in May.
