The Waterloo Bucks (17-14) lost 5-3 to the St. Cloud Rox (19-11) on Thursday evening, snapping their eight-game road winning streak. However, Waterloo’s magic number to clinch the Great Plains-East subdivision first half championship moved to three as the Eau Claire Express fell to the La Crosse Loggers.

Despite jumping ahead to a 3-0 lead after the top of three, the Bucks watched St. Cloud battle back and score five unanswered to finish the game.

Tony Jenkins (2-3, BB, 2 R, SB) and R.J. Teijeiro (2-4) each posted multi-hit games in the loss.

Waterloo and St. Cloud finish their series on Friday evening at 7:05 p.m. on the Bucks Radio Network powered by 1650 The Fan.
