The Waterloo Bucks (21-18, 1-2) fell 1-0 in a rain-shortened game to the Rochester Honkers (20-18, 2-1) on Friday evening. Due to worsening field conditions following an hour-plus of playing in the rain, the game was called following the top of the sixth.

Drew Irvine received a hard-luck loss, going all 5.0 innings and allowing the lone run on three hits, three walks and four strikeouts.

Matt Campos (2-2, 3B) reached both times, while Bennett Hostetler, Patrick Ferguson and Blake Wagenseller each added a hit.

Waterloo and Rochester wrap up their series at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday evening, with the game being broadcasted live on the Bucks Radio Network powered by 1650 The Fan.
