Waterloo completed the sweep against the Mankato MoonDogs with a 7-4 win at home.

The MoonDogs jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with an RBI groundout and an RBI base hit. The Bucks knocked home a run on an RBI single from Peyton Williams in the first to close the gap to 2-1, Mankato.

It was the second inning that proved the difference for Waterloo. The Bucks had the first five batters in the second reach and plated four runs before Peyton Williams hit his sixth homer of the season with a two-run shot to put Waterloo up 7-2.

Mankato would add two in the seventh, but the Bucks would hold on with a scoreless eighth and ninth frames. Duncan Davitt picked up the win for Waterloo with five and two-thirds innings and two earned runs. Jarret Kryzanowski took the loss for Mankato with two innings and seven earned runs. Christian McGowan got the save for Waterloo with a perfect ninth.

Waterloo heads to St. Cloud to start a two-game series against the Rox with first pitch coming at 4:05 tomorrow.
