After an early run from Mankato, Waterloo bounced back with five unanswered runs on their way to a 8-4 over the MoonDogs.

Dylan Phillips hit an RBI triple in the first for Mankato. The Bucks scored four runs in the third inning to go up 4-0. Waterloo would add a run in the fifth on a Charley Hesse base hit.

Mankato would close the gap and after eight innings it was a 6-4 game favoring the Bucks. To lead off the top of the ninth, Peyton Williams hit his league-leading tenth home run of the season. The Bucks added one more run to win 8-4.

Bucks starter Blake Corsentino got the win with six innings and two runs. Jared Milch took the loss for Mankato with three innings and four earned runs on seven hits.

The Bucks and MoonDogs will square off again in Mankato tomorrow night with first pitch at 6:35.
