After scoring early, the Bucks would lose on a late rally from Mankato 5-2.

Waterloo scored in the top of the first on a RBI base hit from Cameron Thompson with two outs. Thompson would repeat with an RBI knock in the third to put the Bucks up 2-0.

Mankato would drop their first run on the board with a double-play from Adam LaRock, scoring Dylan Phillips from third. The Bucks offense would go cold and see one baserunner for the fifth through seventh.

The MoonDogs took advantage with a four-run eighth off of Zach Button to go up 5-2. Waterloo would go down scoreless in the ninth.

Dylan Phillips took the win with a scoreless eighth and ninth. Zach Button took the loss for Waterloo. The Bucks are off this weekend and are back in action on Monday at Willmar.
