Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced the activation of infielders Jalen Smith (UC-Davis) and Josh Kasevich (Oregon) ahead of their home series against the Eau Claire Express. Smith was a 2021 Northwoods League All-Star and earned the Rawlings Big Stick award at second base while Kasevich started every game at shortstop this season at Oregon, driving in 50 and hitting .324. In accordance with the move, Waterloo waived Eli Emerson (St. Cloud State) and Paul Steffensen (St. Cloud State).
