WATERLOO, Iowa – After their opening series, the Bucks are adding two more players for their road trip in Mankato and Eau Claire. Additionally, one player signed a contract to join at a later date to be determined.

Bucks’ returnee Liam Critchett comes back after the 2021 season where he hit .232 in 44 games. He hit two home runs adding to his 12 total RBIs. Critchett is no stranger to the Northwoods League as he played in the NWL back in the COVID-altered 2020 season playing for the Bismarck Bull Moose, a temporary team to play in the North Dakota-Minnesota-Iowa pod. Critchett plays his college ball at Loyola Marymount where he hit .207 for the Lions.

Recent signee Carl Boehmer plays his college ball at nearby Wartburg College and is in his first-ever summer collegiate league in his career. This season for the Knights, Boehmer pitched in nine games, all relief appearances. He went 1-1 with a save collecting a 3.27 ERA in 22 innings pitched.

Finally, Iowa Hawkeye Marcus Morgan has signed a contract with the Bucks but will join the team at a later date at some point in the season. Morgan just finished his freshman season at Iowa’s flagship school throwing in ten games and three starts compiling a 7.63 ERA.
