WATERLOO, Iowa – The Bucks have announced a plethora of new active players and new signees.

After returning home from a short road trip to Duluth the Bucks welcomed pitcher Cameron Hagan and position players Aaron Ujimori (Hawai’i), Shaydon Kubo (Northern Colorado), Naighel Calderon (Hawai’i), Kyle Huckstorf (Iowa), and A.J. Shaver (Florida State) to the active roster. Huckstorf made the most immediate impact of the new Bucks by launching a solo home run 412 feet in his Bucks debut.

Additionally, the Waterloo Bucks have announced the signing of Blake Benson, a two-way player out of the University of the Ozarks. The lefty native to Springdale, Arkansas finished his junior season at Ozarks. This season for the Eagles, Benson pitched in 12 games, including 11 starts. He went 5-3 with a 5.20 ERA in 62.1 innings pitched.

Despite signing on with the Bucks as a left-handed pitcher, and outfielder. He has not played in the outfield during his time at Ozarks.
