Duluth, MN – After a long evening that saw momentum swing back and forth, the Waterloo Bucks took the second game of their series against the Duluth Huskies, 13–12.

The Bucks jumped out to a five-run lead in the first couple innings, but the Huskies, in a fashion reminiscent of their win last night, came back to take a one-run lead in the bottom of the sixth.

it wasn’t until the top of the eighth when the Bucks pulled back in front, scoring six runs in the inning. The Huskies cut their deficit to one with a runner in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth, but a Jack Laird strikeout of Brandon Compton sealed the win for the Bucks.

Out of the Bucks starting nine players, six of them ended up recording an RBI. Leading the way was outfielder Cole Hill, going 2-for-5 with three RBI on the evening.

The Bucks will return home to kickoff a six-game home stand with the Minnesota Mud Puppies. That game scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
