Mankato, MN – The Waterloo Bucks (16–21) had their three-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday evening as they lost to the Mankato MoonDogs (20–16), 11–2.

The Bucks jumped out to an early two-run lead in the second inning, but the rest of the night was all MoonDogs as they scored a whopping 11 unanswered runs to cruise to victory.

The two players responsible for the Bucks’ two runs were Christian Smith and Max Shor. Smith hit a solo home run to get the scoring started while Shor came up  several at-bats later to collect an RBI-single

The Bucks will be back in action on Friday against the MoonDogs for the second game of the road trip, as well as their fourth game against the team in just as many nights. That game is scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
