Mankato, MN – Despite being down by three runs headed into the final three innings, the Waterloo Bucks (17–21) beat the Mankato MoonDogs (20–17) in the second game of their second series of the season, 8–6.

The Bucks scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull themselves out of their deficit. The inning was highlighted by a two-RBI knock from infielder Elliot Good that allowed the Bucks to take the lead for the first time since the first inning. Good finished the game three RBIs.

Outfielder Cole Hill also had a good outing for the Bucks, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored.

The Bucks’ bullpen came up big in the latter portion of this game. Out of the four pitchers that came into the game in relief, none of them gave up an earned run.

The Bucks have now won seven of their last 10 games headed into their weekend series against the first half champion Eau Claire Express. the first game of that series will take place on Saturday at 6:35 p.m.
