Eau Claire, WI – The Waterloo Bucks (21–21) won their fifth consecutive game on Tuesday, beating the Eau cLExpress for the fourth straight day, 6–3.

This win was also the Bucks’ eighth in ten games. Additionally, they are tied with the Kalamazoo Growlers for the longest current win streak in the league.

Infielder Brodie Kresser led the way for the Bucks at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one one run and one RBI. Meanwhile, catcher Ben Gallaher went 1-for-4 with two RBIs while batting in the nine hole.

The Bucks wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, getting an RBI-single from Elliot Good to take an early lead. The Express tied up the game by the end of the third inning, but the Bucks scored three more runs across the next two frames to take the lead for good.

The Express got two runners on base in the bottom of the ninth with the tying-run up to bat, but Bucks reliever Sam Skarich forced Dylan O’Connell into a groundout to end the game.

The Bucks will look to keep up their momentum headed into a four-game home series against the Thunder Bay Border Cats. First pitch for game one of that series will be Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.
