Duluth, MN – The Waterloo Bucks faced off against the Duluth Huskies for the second game in as many days and lost 5-4 in 11 innings, splitting the series at one game a piece.

The scoring was held off until the sixth inning for the Bucks.They proceeded to put on three runs and cut the Duluth lead down to one run, 4-3. The three runs were thanks to an RBI single from Marcus Heusohn and an error from the Huskies’ defense. In the top of the seventh inning, right-fielder Ben Wilmes hit an RBI triple scoring catcher Matt Martinez, and tying the game at four.

The score would remain the same into the bottom of the eleventh inning when Duluth won on a walk-off single.

The Bucks hit the road to face the Willmar Stingers for two games at Bill Taunton Stadium. The first pitch of game one is set for 7:05 PM.
