Waterloo, IA – The Northwoods League announced today the rosters for the 2009 All-Star Game to be played in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada on July 21st at 6:05 Eastern. The team, which features the elite talent in the league, features one Bucks player, infielder Michael Giller (Illinois).
Giller, who leads the NWL in batting average at .376, was voted onto the South Division team as the starting shortstop. In his third season with the Bucks, the Chicago, Illinois native leads the league in average, hits (59), and ranks third in RBI (31).
The 2009 NWL All-Star Game will be streamed over the Internet with an enhanced video webcast on NorthwoodsLeague.tv.
