Wisconsin Rapids, WI – The Waterloo Bucks lose game two against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in a pitching stalemate, 2-1.

Scoring for either team wouldn’t come to the game until the sixth inning due to the hard-throwing of the starting arms. Waterloo starting right-hander Jacob Phillips went through four innings of three-hit baseball with four strikeouts on his tally.
The Bucks would strike first on an RBI single from Brennan Hudson at the top of the sixth inning.

The Rafters would answer back with a two-run homer in the bottom frame of the sixth and that would end the scoring for the day.

The Rafters went back to their strong righty closer, Max Whitesell to close the game and win the two-game series.

The Waterloo Bucks are back in action tomorrow against the Kenosha Kingfish, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM at Historic Simmons Field
