Willmar, MN – In Game Two against the Willmar Stingers, the Waterloo Bucks were bested by a score of 15-1. With this loss, the Bucks lost the Great Plains East first-half title to the La Crosse Loggers.

The Stingers scored in the first inning from a solo shot from Jessada Brown and they kept the lead from then on out. Three more runs came across to score in the bottom of the fourth inning and Willmar was up by four.

In the top of the fifth, the Bucks scored their first and only run from a sacrifice fly off the bat of center fielder Lucas Moore.

Willmar continued to add on until the end and won by 14 runs, but also captured the Great Plains West First Half Pennant.

The Bucks head home to start a six-game homestand, and face the Eau Claire Express for two games. First pitch on July 1st is set for 6:35 PM at Riverfront Stadium.
