The Bucks announced the hiring of Jared Krasselt as a Coach for the 2011 season. Currently, Krasselt (pronounced KRESS-alt) is an Assistant Coach at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.

Krasselt is no stranger to the Northwoods League, playing for the Green Bay Bullfrogs in 2007. A native of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Krasselt was a catcher for both Iowa Lakes Community College and Clarke during his collegiate career. Last season, Krasselt finished up his college career by hitting.333 with 21 RBI in 38 games for the Crusaders.

“I first off want to thank Mr. Corbin and the Waterloo Bucks for this magnificent opportunity to expand my coaching knowledge and to be a part of a great tradition, that being the Bucks and the Northwoods League,” said Krasselt.

A graduate of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Krasselt played junior college baseball at Iowa Lakes CC under Bucks Field Manager Jason Nell. In 2007, Krasselt was named to the First Team All-Region squad as the Lakers’ catcher
