The Pit Spitters rallied and scored the winning run during the ninth inning for the win agains the Kalamazoo Growlers. The final score was 5-4. Traverse Cities Mario Camilletti (Oakland University) hit one double along with two RBI.

The Madison Mallards shut out and dominated the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score of 6-0. The Mallards had a total of six runs and twelve hits throughout tonights game. Austin Blazevic (Southeast Missouri) and Nicholas Figus (Illinois-Wesleyan) both hit one home run each along with Blazevic’s two RBI for Madison. The winning pitcher was Eliot Turnquist (Madison College) who pitched five innings with no runs, one hit, and four strike outs. The games losing pitcher was Wisconsin’s Gareth Stroh (Nebraska).
Waterloo Bucks 0, Eau Claire Express 7
The Eau Claire Express defeated the Waterloo Bucks with an ending game score 7-0. The Express came out of the gates swinging scoring six runs during the first inning to capture the lead against the Bucks. David LaManna (Notre Dame) received two RBI for Eau Claire. Craig Colen (Cal Poly) was the winning pitcher of the night for the Express giving up no runs, two hits, and six strike outs. The losing pitcher for Waterloo was Noah Conlon (UC-San Diego).
St. Cloud Rox 2, Willmar Stingers 3
The Willmar Stingers pulled through for the win over the St. Cloud Rox during tonights game #2 of the NWL Playoffs. The final score was a close 3-2. Stingers Brennan McKenzie (Cal Poly Pamona) had one RBI and one double. Gus Steiger (South Dakota State) received one triple from the Rox. The games winning pitcher was Garret Rukes (Alabama) who pitched a solid seven innings with one run, three hits, and five strike outs. The losing pitcher of the game was St. Cloud’s RJ Martinez (Minot State).
Kalamazoo Growlers 4, Traverse City Pit Spitters 5
Another close game between the Kalamazoo Growlers and Traverse City Pit Spitters. The Pit Spitters rallied and scored the winning run during the ninth inning for the win against the Kalamazoo Growlers. The final score was 5-4. Traverse Cities Mario Camilletti (Oakland University) hit one double along with two RBI. The Spitters winning pitcher was Joe Pace (Michigan) while the losing pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University).
