The first round of the Northwoods League Playoffs is a best-of-three series between the first-half and second-half champions of each division. The team with the best overall record will have a home-field advantage.

In the second round of the playoff, the winners of the first rounds will play each other in a best-of-one series where the team with the best overall season record will be the home team. 

The championship game will be the winners of the Great Plains Division and the Great Lakes Division with the home team being the team with the best overall record. This is also a best-of-one series.
