The Rox Community Foundation, in partnership with Wells, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), and NAPA Central, has awarded fifteen (15) $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors across the Central Minnesota area. The students were selected by a panel of judges who carefully reviewed all applications and voted to determine the recipients. The Rox Community Foundation has awarded $86,000 to central MN students through the scholarship program since 2019.

Former St. Cloud Rox infielder Brice Matthews has been officially called up to the Houston Astros Major League roster and made his debut against the Texas Rangers on July 11.  The announcement came just ahead of his previously scheduled appearance in the MLB All-Star Futures Game, set for Saturday, July 19 in Atlanta, GA. 

Playing minor league baseball can sometimes feel like toiling in obscurity. The St. Cloud Rox have punched their ticket to the playoffs by securing the first-half championship in the Great Plains West. This season marks the seventh consecutive year the Rox have punched a ticket into the NWL postseason.
