Exciting Rox playoff baseball is back!  St. Cloud Rox playoff tickets are on sale now!  The first home playoff game will be Sunday, August 10 at 6:35 p.m. or Monday, August 11 at 6:35 p.m.  (Based on final seedings with the regular season records).

The Rox Community Foundation, in partnership with Wells, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), and NAPA Central, has awarded fifteen (15) $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors across the Central Minnesota area. The students were selected by a panel of judges who carefully reviewed all applications and voted to determine the recipients. The Rox Community Foundation has awarded $86,000 to central MN students through the scholarship program since 2019.

Former St. Cloud Rox infielder Brice Matthews has been officially called up to the Houston Astros Major League roster and made his debut against the Texas Rangers on July 11.  The announcement came just ahead of his previously scheduled appearance in the MLB All-Star Futures Game, set for Saturday, July 19 in Atlanta, GA. 

Playing minor league baseball can sometimes feel like toiling in obscurity. Places like Everett, Washington, and Wilmington, Delaware, and many others in between are a long way from the bright lights of the big leagues – figuratively and literally. But for the past 25 years, Major League Baseball has augmented its annual midseason festivities with the All-Star Futures Game, a chance to glimpse the stars of tomorrow on the same stage as the MLB all-star game.
