The Waterloo Bucks (16-8) fell 12-2 in game two of their doubleheader against the La Crosse Loggers (12-12) on Wednesday evening, finishing with a split and holding their 4.0-game lead over the Loggers in the divisional race. Waterloo went just 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and walked eight batters.

Max Jung-Goldberg (1-for-1, 3 BB, R, SB) scored the first Bucks run in the fourth as he reached on a one-out walk, advanced to second as Mike Campanga (0-for-3, BB) drew ball four then scored on a Sam Biller (1-for-4, RBI) single.

Chris Seng (2-for-3, BB, R, 2 SB) flashed his speed in the fifth, bunting for a hit then stealing both second and third before scoring on an errant throw by the La Crosse catcher.

Aaron Treloar impressed in relief, going 2.0 scoreless and striking out three while allowing just one baserunner on a walk.

The Bucks head to Duluth on Thursday to begin a two-game series at 6:35 p.m. CST.
