Willmar 7, St. Cloud 3

The only game on Monday night was a matchup between Northern Division rivals, St. Cloud and Willmar. The Stingers came out on top, 7-3, snapping a six game Rox winning streak. Wllmar's third in the row came behind a stellar pitching performance from Matt Snyder (Kentucky). Snyder went six innings for the third consecutive start, allowing just three runs while striking out six. Snyder and Willmar trailed early, 3-1, but three consecutive two-run innings carried them to victory. First basemen Nick Rivera (FGCU) drove in three runs on three hits, one coming on a solo home run and the other a two-RBI single. Stingers reliever Matt Geislinger (MSU-Mankato) went the rest of the way for the save.
