Connor Cook (UW-La Crosse) threw a complete game shutout for the Dock Spiders in their big game one win over Duluth. He retired the first seven in a row then allowed a single in the third. Cook shutdown the next 10 straight. A single came in the sixth and to lead off the seventh. He struck out the side to end the seventh and allowed just a walk for the rest of the game. His night ended with just three hits while striking out eight.
