The Mankato MoonDogs started off the afternoon being shut out by the Rochester Honkers. The final score was a close 1-0.  The Wisconsin Woodchucks crushed the Madison Mallards 9-5 with both teams racking up home runs during their game.

The Mankato MoonDogs were shut out by the Rochester Honker with a close final score of 1-0.   Rochester’s Andy Armstrong (Oregon State University) hit one double and Ryan Ober (Oregon State University) received one RBI. The winning pitcher was Honkers Daniel Silva (UC-Colorado Springs) who pitched a solid seven innings with no runs and three hits. Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) came in for the saving pitch for two innings giving up no runs or hits. Mankato’s Trent Baker (Angelo State) was the losing pitcher of the game. 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 9, Madison Mallards 5

The Wisconsin Woodchucks demolished the Madison Mallards 9-5 during tonights game. Wisconsin came out in a bang scoring five runs in the top of the second inning and never letting the Mallards catch them. TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) hit two home runs and Kenny Rodriguez (Seminole State College FL) had one home run for the Woodchucks. Reeves also hit one double and three RBI. Madison’s Justice Bigbie (Western Carolina) and Drew Benefield (Louisville) both received home runs. The winning pitcher was Beau Nichols (Lincoln Memorial University) and the losing pitcher was Trevor Marreel (Washburn University). 

Bismarck Larks 7, Duluth Huskies 6

The Bismarck Larks quickly defeated the Duluth Huskies with a final score of 7-6. The Larks had a total of seven runs and seven hits. Duluth’s Danny Zimmerman (Michigan) hit one home run along with two RBI. For Bismarck, David Mendham (Connor State CC) received two RBI. The winning pitcher was Dominic Arias (Chicago State) who pitched a solid six innings with four runs and five strike outs. The saving pitcher was Evan Miller (Xavier) from the Larks. The losing pitcher was Jonathan Pierce (San Joaquin Delta College). 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 2, Eau Claire Express 4

The Eau Claire Express beat the Thunder Bay Border Cats during tonight’s game with a final score 4-2. Eau Claire came together in the bottom of the sixth scoring three runs to grab the lead and win over the Cats. Cole Cabrera (Cal Poly) had two RBI and one double hit for the Express. Thunder Bay’s Conor Allard (University of Nevada-Reno) also received one RBI and one double tonight. The winning pitcher of the game was Jonathan Worley (Stanford) and the saving pitcher was Nick Herold (Winona). The Border Cats losing pitcher was Alex Dafoe (Friends University (KS)) pitching a solid six innings of work. 

Battle Creek Bombers, Rockford Rivets 

Tonight’s game in Rockford between the Rivets and the Bombers has been suspended in the Top of the 4th inning. The game will be resumed on June 29 in Rockford starting at 5:05 and will be completed to nine innings. The regularly scheduled game will take place thirty minutes after the conclusion of the first game and it will be seven innings.

Waterloo Bucks 5, La Crosse Loggers 4

The La Crosse Loggers lost in a close and extra inning battle against the Waterloo Bucks. The final score was 5-4. Dylan Phillips (Kansas State) hit one home run, three RBI, and one double for the Bucks. La Crosse’ Hunter Watson (Texas AM) received four RBI and hit one double. The winning pitcher was Brett Lockwood (Kansas State) who pitched three innings giving up one run, one hit, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Jared Freilich (Penn State) from the Loggers. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 5, Traverse City Pit Spitters 10

The Traverse City Pit Spitters crushed the Kokomo Jackrabbits tonight with the Spitters scoring a strong three runs in the bottom of the first and seventh innings. The final score was 10-5. Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) received two RBI and one double hit for the Pit Spitters. Kokomo’s Logan Jarvis (Belmont) and Chase Hacker (UT-San Antonio) had one RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Chase Gearing (Saginaw Valley College) who pitched two innings with no runs and two hits. The losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Lucas Folmar (Mercyhurst). 

Kenosha Kingfish 2, Kalamazoo Growlers 3

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kenosha Kingfish with a close battle with a final score  3-2. The Growlers pulled it together scoring one run in the bottom of the eight to capture the win. Rudy Maxwell (Duke University) had two RBI and Shea Kramer (University of Utah) hit one double for Kalamazoo. The winning pitcher was DJ Moore (Huntington University) pitching two innings with no runs and one hit. Eamon Horwedel (Ohio University) swooped in for the save for the Growlers in the last inning. Kenosha’s losing pitcher was Sam Marhefke (Loras College). 

Willmar Stingers 8, St. Cloud Rox 7

The Willmar Stinger brought it back in the top of the ninth inning scoring three runs to capture the win over the St. Cloud Rox. The final score was 8-7. Rox’s Garett Delano (Brown University) and Cam Kline (Minnesota State Mankato) scored one home run each. Branden Boissiere (Arizona) received one RBI and one double during tonight game from the Stingers. The winning pitcher was Austin Reich (Northwestern State) and the saving pitcher was Aldo Fernandez (New Mexico State) from Willmar. St. Cloud’s losing pitcher was Hance Smith (California-Berkeley). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 2, Green Bay Booyah 0

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders shut out the Green Bay Booyah with an ending game score of 2-0. The Spiders had a total of seven hits and two run throughout tonights game. Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) and Cam McMillan (Vanderbilt) had one RBI along with one double hit. The winning pitcher was Parker Johnson (Indiana Wesleyan) with no runs, two hits, and three strike outs during his three innings at the mound. The losing pitcher was Green Bay’s Nick Riggle (California (PA)) who pitched a solid six innings with one run and five hits. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 1, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters beat the Lakeshore Chinooks during tonight game with an ending game score 4-1. Lakeshore’s Mike Trautwein (Northwestern) had one RBI and one double hit. Harry Fullerton (University of New Mexico) received one RBI along with one double for the Rafters. The winning pitcher was Nathan Hemmerling (Lakeland) who pitched five innings with one run and three hits. The losing pitcher was Lakeshore’s Aaron Ras (Wayne State College).
