Mason Philley (Arkansas-Monticello) picked up his first win of the season on Saturday afternoon and Pitcher of the Night honors, as he helped the Mandan Flickertails power past the Bismarck Bull Moose in game one of a doubleheader.
Philley came on in relief in the fifth, and lasted for three innings, where he allowed one run on two hits while recording five of Mandan’s nine strikeouts on the afternoon.
