Adam Wheaton (Trine University) had another spectacular outing for the Growlers on Sunday, as they beat the Mac Daddies 2-0 in the first game of their doubleheader.
Wheaton threw a complete game, his fifth in a row and sixth in his last seven starts. He allowed six hits while recording four strikeouts to earn another win, giving him a season record of 7-0, with an ERA of 0.60. In 45 innings pitched, he has recorded 47 strikeouts in 2020.
