After three weeks of Northwoods League games the Battle Creek Battle Jacks, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, Eau Claire Express and St.Cloud Rox lead the league with wins. Ben Ross and Brendan Bobo from the Rafters both lead the league in batting average and home runs. Dylan Carter from the Green Bay Rockers leads the pitchers in the league with seven strikeouts. 

Battle Creek Battle Jacks 9, Kokomo Jackrabbits 5

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks rally to defeat the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Patrick Mills (Indiana University Kokomo) scored the first run of the game with an RBI single. Joey Grabanski (Concordia University Nebraska) scored the next three runs with a double to left field. Grabanski had two doubles and four RBI. Billy Hancock (Mount Marty College) had three singles scoring twice as he reached base. The team combined for 13 hits and three stolen bases. 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4, Madison Mallards 3

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders win their second game in a row against the Madison Mallards 4-3. Nick Mitchell (Western Illinois University) led his team with three singles, one walk and three RBI. Grant Hussey (West Virginia University) had the only double of the night along with a single in the sixth inning. Evan Smith (West Virginia University) also had a multi-hit game with two singles and a stolen base. 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 5, Rockford Rivets 4

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters win their second extra inning game against the Rockford Rivets 5-4. Jacob Igawa (University of Hawaii) scored the first run of the game in the fourth inning with an RBI single. Igawa had two hits on the night with one RBI. In the bottom of the 11th inning with a runner on third Colin Tuft (University of Virginia) put the ball in play to score Ben Ross (Notre Dame College) on a fielder’s choice. Tuft had one hit, one walk and a stolen base. Malakai Vetock (Creighton University) had the win on the mound throwing six strikeouts in the last three innings. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 6, Wausau Woodchucks 1

The Lakeshore Chinooks earn their ninth win of the season against the Wausau Woodchucks 6-1. The Chinooks scored their first five runs in the second inning. Matthew Deprey (Xavier University) had a double to right field to score two runs. Deprey had two hits and one walk. Aidan Longwell (Kent State University) scored the final run with a home run in the sixth inning. Eric Chalus (Kent State University) was the starting pitcher throwing the first six innings with seven strikeouts. 

La Crosse Loggers 12, Waterloo Bucks 3

The La Crosse Loggers stay hot winning their eighth game in a row against the Waterloo Bucks. The Loggers scored seven runs in the fifth inning on three RBI walks, a wild pitch and an error on Landon Wallace’s (University of Nevada, Reno) hit, scoring three runs. Luke Leto (Louisiana State University) had the only triple of the night with three RBI. Jack Haley (California State University, Fullerton) had three hits with a double, walk and one RBI. 

Kalamazoo Growlers 12, Kenosha Kingfish 7

The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Kenosha Kingfish 12-7. Luke Storm (Duke University) led his team with three hits including a home run with five RBI. Griffin O’Ferrall (University of Virginia) also had three hits with a single, double, two walks and a home run with two RBI. Ryan Dykstra (Oakland University) and Daniel Pruitt (Feather River College) both had two hits with one RBI each. 

Green Bay Rockers 4, Traverse City Pit Spitters 3

The Green Bay Rockers rallied back to take the first win against the Traverse City Pit Spitters 4-3. The Rockers scored their go ahead runs in the top of the ninth inning on a sac fly by Griffin Stevens (Tiffin University) and an RBI double by Owen Jackson (University of Toledo). Carson Yates (University of California, Los Angeles) had two hits including a single and a double. Bryce Crabb (University of Northwestern Saint Paul) had his second win on the mound throwing three scoreless innings.

Bismarck Larks 5, Mankato MoonDogs 3

The Bismarck Larks keep working their way into the win column with a victory over the Mankato MoonDogs 5-3. The Larks strike first, scoring the first run of the game with an RBI single by Reggie Williams (Colorado State University – Pueblo). Dylan Perry (Kaskaskia College) and Jake Hjelle (University of Minnesota-Crookston) both had two hits with a double and one RBI. Seth Brewer (Northern State University) threw the first seven innings with two strikeouts and allowed zero runs to score. 

Duluth Huskies 5, Rochester Honkers 2

The Duluth Huskies win their 11th game of the season defeating the Rochester Honkers 5-2. Jonathan Vastine (Vanderbilt University) led his team with four hits and one stolen base. Eduardo Rosario (University Nebraska Omaha) had two hits and three RBI. Devin Hurdle (University Nebraska Omaha) had the only home run of the game to start off the fourth inning. 

St.Cloud Rox 11, Willmar Stingers 4

The St.Cloud Rox are now 13-3 with their victory over the Willmar Stingers 11-4. Charlie Condon (University of Georgia) earned Northwoods Player of the Night after hitting two home runs with six RBI. Camden Hayslip (University of St. Cloud State University) had three hits with two doubles and a single in the top of the ninth. The Rox had a total of 15 hits and zero errors on the field.
