Monday’s Northwoods League slate featured the second game of the series between the Mankato Habaneros and the La Crosse Steam.

Mankato 11, La Crosse 2

The Mankato Habaneros score eight in the seventh to clobber the La Crosse Steam 11-2. Amity White (University of South Alabama) started the rally going 1-for-3 scoring twice with a two-run single. Indigo Fish (University of Wisconsin-Superior) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a two-run double. Brooke Holmes (St. Cloud State University) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with two RBI. Calli Janik (Mount Mercy University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with one RBI. Sailor Hall (Kirkwood Community College) earned the win throwing six innings with five strikeouts allowing four hits, three walks, and two runs.
