Sunday’s Northwoods League slate featured a solo matchup between the #4 Minot Honeybees and the #3 La Crosse Steam.

The Minot Honeybees pulled through with the win and shut out the La Crosse Steam 1-0. Sydney Farmer (Tyler Junior College) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a solo home run. Shannon Nelson (Miles Community College) collected one RBI. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) collected two stolen bases and drew three walks. Jasmine Blizzard (Minot State University) earned the win throwing five scoreless innings with one strikeout and allowing five hits and four hits.
