In a matchup of complete opposites, Eau Claire rallied from a 2-1 deficit with a two-run seventh inning that included a run on a wild pitch and a RBI single by Tyler Herrman (Milwaukee). The Express got strong appearances out of a trio of pitchers- starter Ian Doughty (Pepperdine) went six one-run innings while reliever Ryan Boelter (Iowa Central) picked up the win out of the bullpen.
Lakeshore 6, Kalamazoo 2
The Chinooks jumped out to a 2-0 lead and tacked on three insurance runs in the seventh to cool down a hot Growlers team and win their fifth straight.
