Wednesday's Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night is Willmar right-hander and Florida Gulf Coast junior Brady Anderson. Anderson, who was a member of the Stingers bullpen in 2012, has made the move to the rotation well as he stretched his scoreless innings to 24 last night.
He went the complete game and picked up the shutout as he allowed just five hits without walking anyone. He struck out five and needed 103 pitches to go the distance, 70 of which were strikes.
Anderson is now 3-0 on the season over four games with a 0.62 ERA. He has 15 strikeouts over 29 innings with a 0.89 WHIP.
